• I love sad nu-metal

Alright, I wanted to make a note about my favourite band in the world. LOATHE. AKA LOATHEASONE, or British Deftones. They are SUCH good soup. I enjoy listening to their album "I Let It In And It Took Everything." My first introduction to their existence, was through a Sleep Token cover of their song "Is It Really You?" Where Vessel plays the piano, and sings with his haunting voice. Honestly both iterations of the song are good. After discovering the cover, I began to actually look into LOATHE a little more, and really started to understand a bit more about myself. In the terms of what I like in certain types of metal. Ambient, sorrowful yet whimsical. As an example. Deftones has two songs I think of, whenever I think of these ideas combines. "Entombed," and "Sextape." There is no personal winner between the two, as I both keep them close to my heart. But I will say, there are certain moods they put me in, which make them much more distinct than my earlier description of the pair. For instance, if I listen to Entombed, lying in bed and staring at the ceiling? I melt away in relaxations. I mean, the song is an Ode from Chino Moreno to his son, Brandon Moreno. But on the other hand, Sextape? It just makes me sad, because I am a lonely person who yearns for intimacy. (I am working on myself to at least allow me to be happy with what I am as a being.) After seeing the two song in this different sort of light however. I find it easy to agree that the songs are non-comparable. At least by my definition.
